At MUR HOTELS, we are passionate about taking care of our guests and ensuring maximum relaxation, but last Sunday, May 17, 2026, we decided to pick up the pace! For a few hours, we swapped our hotel uniforms for running shoes and joined one of the most fun and anticipated sporting events of the year: the Canarias7 Corporate Race.

More than 40 colleagues giving it their all! If you were there, you surely spotted us. We were a true "Blue Wave," filling the streets of Gran Canaria's capital with enthusiasm, teamwork, and, why not say it, a strong desire to push our limits! No fewer than 40 people from different departments at MUR HOTELS put on their race bibs to run the 5-kilometer race.

Seeing the energy, the mutual support among colleagues when legs started to feel heavy, and the smiles upon crossing the finish line was the perfect reflection of the values we live by every day at the company.

We would like to thank and congratulate every single colleague who laced up their sneakers and wore our shirt with such pride. You are amazing! Huge thanks also to everyone who came out to cheer us on and to the event organizers for putting together such a flawless day.
We hope that next year even more colleagues will join us, and that the MUR HOTELS Blue Wave keeps on growing!
